Kind words from happy clients
Isabella: Her skills go far, far beyond getting a baby into a routine
I had the pleasure of having Elizabeth as my maternity nurse from when my baby was five weeks old.
I instantly felt safe with her. I was amazed by the depth of her knowledge, research and how she keeps up to date with current practice. As a neonatal doctor, I know about unwell babies but far less about well babies or what to expect in the postnatal period. The things she has taught me will not only help me as a mother but also as a doctor.
Elizabeth has a wonderful manner. Having a baby is such an enormous thing for a woman to go through, and she expertly guided me. We doctors like to find causes and answers, and she showed me how motherhood is less formulaic and how to adapt to change in my life!
Her incredible support and encouragement also gave me all the tools I needed to get through rough days and crazy hormones. Her skills go far, far beyond getting a baby into a routine!
We have been in regular contact to troubleshoot and I really feel like she cares and wants to know how we are getting on. Thank you Elizabeth for everything you have done for me, my husband and our baby.
Lucie: The confidence, reassurance and know how to care for, and enjoy our baby
Elizabeth has the magic touch with babies, always translating what they want or need. Her calm manner relaxed me and my baby and allowed me to enjoy each day of this special newborn phase, rather than feeling nervous or exhausted by it all.
She subtly equipped me with increasing confidence, as well as the ability to achieve more on my own and manage my time.
She also has a wonderful sense of humour. She reassured me about post-birth questions or worries and made me laugh when I needed it.
I can’t recommend Elizabeth enough to any other new mothers. She is an excellent and hugely knowledgeable maternity nurse with a lovely manner.
Harriet: She provided absolutely stellar support to us
Elizabeth came to us when our baby was just three days old to help after my c-section. During her ten-day stay, we were able to establish the foundations of a sleeping and feeding routine.
This was successful beyond our expectations for such a young baby and has given us a great framework to work with – and the confidence to structure our time so we can have mealtimes together and time to rest… which has been very important for our sanity!
Elizabeth is highly personable, hugely experienced and extremely efficient. She is also very caring and encouraging, always taking great care and time to answer all my repetitious questions and boost my confidence.
She is not only fantastic with babies, she is a ‘parenting tutor’ who gave us techniques and knowledge. My husband and I both found this massively helpful and it gave us confidence as first-time parents. We cannot recommend Elizabeth enough.
Vicky: She is a fountain of knowledge
I count myself as being very fortunate to have had Elizabeth help look after all three of my children.
She was great with our son Mika, who was just over two months when she arrived. Within just a short couple of weeks, she had him sleeping through the night and in a very easy, stable routine.
As always, she was an enormous help, going above and beyond and fitting in beautifully with our family. All my children adored her, as did my husband and I.
Elizabeth is a consummate professional. I could not recommend her more highly. She is a fountain of knowledge and really has a magic touch when it comes to babies. It saddens me to think that this will probably be our last child, as I will miss having the opportunity to have Elizabeth with us again.
Victoria and Laura (sisters): She has been an absolute godsend!
Due to the Covid lockdown, Elizabeth was unable to help in person, so offered virtual support to Laura with Molly, including suggesting a routine and helping us with early issues around problematic nighttimes.
She later spent ten days at our parents’ house when Sam was four weeks old and Molly was four and a half months.
Both Sam and Molly are our second children, so she amazingly developed their routines not only to suit them but to fit in with our older children and the rest of our families.
She has offered us fantastic support since, helping with feeding troubles and other general questions and worries we’ve had along the way. She has been an absolute godsend!
Freiderike: Thanks to Elizabeth’s routine, James is very content and joyful, confident and ever-exploring
Elizabeth came to stay with us to help look after our nine-week old son. Our goal was to establish a routine as well as sleeping better at night, James was also still feeding every four hours.
Within a couple of days, Elizabeth had established a sound routine tailored to James’ needs and he immediately dropped down to one feed a night. It wasn’t long before he stopped feeding at night altogether. She also helped me stop breastfeeding and made the transition as easy as possible.
We found Elizabeth incredibly helpful and loved her positive attitude. So we asked her to come back when James was 16 weeks old to help him sleep better.
Thanks to Elizabeth’s routine, James is very content and joyful, confident and ever-exploring. I strongly believe her approach was just what he needed to develop happily at his own pace.
Elizabeth has a wonderful personality and we all took to her immediately. She has regularly been in touch and given me great advice to ensure our son is happy.
Seraphine: Elizabeth’s magic touch and expert instinct
After our wonderful experience with Elizabeth two years before with our first baby, we decided to have another as we knew how easy Elizabeth would make it for us.
Our second baby Gia was just over two months old when Elizabeth came. She was fussy, difficult to settle and a little challenging to put into a routine.
Over the course of three weeks of a gently-structured sleep routine, Elizabeth has made Gia a calm, confident and good-humoured baby – and a star sleeper, the most precious gift to us!
This amazing progress would not have been possible without Elizabeth’s magic touch and expert instinct. She is extremely competent; precise but reasonable, disciplined but flexible. She also offers great advice to mums to ensure they get good rest and manage their time more efficiently.
Elizabeth is also extremely sociable, hugely fun and super-hilarious to be around. She is the loveliest companion to co-parent with – if only it could last longer!
